V7 Atlas on 20” .308 DPMS

After its initial release the demand for the Atlas bipod remains strong resulting in a back log running as many as 8 weeks at times.  While we are striving to improve this, please understand chances are any civilian order for an Atlas bipod will not ship in our normal 2 business days.  In addition, there are several things that could become a reality for us at B&T resulting in a new policy regarding civilian sales.  However, before any such policy would take effect, we would deliver ALL civilian orders before the new policy would be implemented.   So, the bottom line, if you want an Atlas Bipod, the best play is to order one placing you in line according to order date.  IF YOU PLACE AN ORDER ON-LINE AND SELCT PAYMENT OF CREDIT CARD, YOU WILL BE BILLED IMMEDIATELY.  If you want to avoid being billed at that time, simply select payment method of “Money Order or Check” and then place your contact information in the “Comments” section.  This is very important because the system does not capture any contact information when paying this way.  So please remember to put your contact information into the comment section when choosing that payment method.  Then, when we are ready to ship, we’ll contact you for your Credit card information.

The Atlas Bipod project has been a long journey, from conception of what a bipod should be to a brief and frank discussion with Mr. Harris at SHOT, where he expressed no interest in adding my concepts to the Harris product line to what we see today as the Atlas bipod.  The Atlas has been tested by professionals and civilians alike, tested in the sands of Iraq and found to not foul, tested in a Red Bull induced shooting session and survived.  The new V8 Atlas is ready for you.

The images on the top left were made by Frank Galli bottom left show the V4 production Atlas Bipod compared to a Harris Swivel 6-9” bipod for size comparison only (the Harris bipod is a good bipod and has set the standards to which others are compared, thus the comparison).  The video shows a V7 in the “white” before the hard anodize treatment being shot from, off a tailgate with a DPMS 20” .308 rifle.
