About the CAL Series: Fulfilling requests for an Atlas without the ability to Cant prompted creation of the CAL (Cant And Loc) Atlas® Bipod. It delivers the same novel Atlas feature of five independent leg positions – including the patented 45° leg position – but without the Pan function to ensure the bore stays perpendicular to the bipod legs. Features 63º of adjustable, preloaded Cant and a wide footprint. Made in the USA.

The BT69-NC model Atlas Bipod is part of our Tall CAL Series. It mounts directly to any Picatinny rail using the included ADM-170-S lever mount. This mount allows for quick attachment to and detachment from firearms with Picatinny Rail, and is adjustable to fit the width of in spec and out of spec Picatinny Rails without the use of tools.

Adjustable, preloaded Cant with additional tension lever made possible using original KMW Pod-Loc® (instructions below).

Description

The BT69-LW17 is comprised of 6061-T6 aluminum, except the inner legs which are made from 7075-T6 aluminum, Mil-Spec Type III hard coat anodized with heat treated stainless steel components. Available in black only.

ADM-170-S Lever Adjustment & Operation
Using the KMW “Pod-Loc®”

With the CAL bipod mounted to your rifle, you will be able to lock and un-lock the canting motion by rotating the Pod-Loc® lever. Turn clockwise to lock and counter clockwise to un-lock. The Pod-Loc® lever position can be adjusted for positioning by pulling the lever directly away from the body of the CAL and rotating to desired position. This positioning can be repeated until optimal position is achieved.

  • Preload on Cant can be adjusted by removing Pod-Loc and tightening the exposed nut by 1/8-1/4 turns until desired tension achieved
  • Independent, intentional and non-orientated leg positioning allows either hand to move leg into any of the five leg positions
